Verve AI Alternatives (2026): For Live Interview Help Without the Session Caps

October 23, 2026
Verve AI is strong on mock interviews but caps live copilot sessions at 60 or 90 minutes. Compare five alternatives for live interview help on price, session limits, free access, coding help, and platforms, checked October 2026.

Verve AI does two things: AI mock interviews and a live interview copilot. The mock interviews are its strength, and the free plan gives you five of them with no card. The live copilot is where people start looking elsewhere. Standard allows 5 copilot sessions a month capped at 60 minutes each, and Pro allows unlimited sessions capped at 90 minutes. A final round that runs long hits the cap, and five sessions a month runs out fast in an active search.

This guide is for people who want the live help without those limits. It compares five alternatives, with prices from each vendor's own site on October 17, 2026, unless another date is given. We make YesToTheOffer, which is one of them.

No session cap, pay per minute

YesToTheOffer

We make this one. A desktop app for macOS and Windows. During the interview it transcribes the questions as they're asked, drafts answer points from your resume and the job description, and helps with coding problems from screenshots. Afterward you get a transcript and a review, which is the closest thing we have to Verve AI's interview reports.

There's no session cap and no monthly session count. You buy minutes: $9.99 for 90, $29.99 for 240, and they don't expire. New accounts get 30 free minutes. Three one-hour interviews cost about $20, against $44.99 for a month of Verve AI Standard. A 100-minute final round just uses 100 minutes.

Where Verve AI is better: we have no mock interviews, no iPhone app, and no question bank. If you want to rehearse with an AI interviewer, Verve AI's free plan does that and we don't.

No session cap, subscription

LockedIn AI

Up to 2 hours per interview on Unlimited, with unlimited sessions and mock interviews. $109.98 a month with $43.99 for the first payment only, a 3-month plan billed quarterly, or $799.60 lifetime. iOS and Android apps, which only Verve AI's iPhone app comes close to. The first-payment discount expires after one month, so budget for the full price. See our LockedIn AI review.

Lower monthly price, with caps

CoPilot Interview

Standard at $14.99 a month on sale (regular $19.99) with 60-minute sessions and up to 100 minutes a day, which is far more than Verve AI Standard's 5 sessions a month at a third of the price. Pro at $29.99 lifts sessions to 70 minutes. Native Windows and macOS apps. No mock interviews. If the 60-minute cap was your problem with Verve AI, this doesn't fix it; if the 5-session limit was, it does.

Mock interviews plus live help

Final Round AI

The most direct like-for-like with Verve AI: mock interviews in several scenarios, a question bank, a live copilot, and an automatic debrief. The homepage says Pro is "from $25 a month," while the plan page lists $62.50 a month billed annually, $83.33 half-yearly, and $125 every two months, and we couldn't reconcile them. No free trial for live sessions, and monthly plans are non-refundable with a 72-hour guarantee on first-time quarterly and yearly purchases. The free plan is for preparation only, so Verve AI's free plan is more generous. See our Final Round AI review.

Parakeet AI

Mock interviews, a question bank, a resume maker, headshots, and a live copilot. Unlimited is $149.90 a month or $599.90 a year. Credits are $38 for one, falling to $11.80 each in the 15-pack, and a call or mock session costs 0.5 credit per 30 minutes. One free 10-minute session and a free first mock. See our Parakeet AI alternatives for how the credits compare per hour.

Where Verve AI is still the better choice

  • Mock interviews. Five free ones, unlimited on paid plans, with an interactive AI interviewer and question banks from named companies. Only Final Round AI matches that breadth.
  • An iPhone app for practice away from the desk.
  • 55+ transcription languages, more than most listed here.
  • Interview reports after each session, with a count that scales by plan.

If the live copilot is secondary and practice is what you're buying, stay with Verve AI and use the free plan first.

A note on session caps

Caps are the detail people miss when they compare prices. A 60-minute cap sounds fine until a final round runs to 75 minutes and the tool stops mid-answer. Before you pick an alternative, look at the longest interview on your calendar and make sure the cap clears it with room to spare. Of the tools here, only YesToTheOffer has no cap at all, and LockedIn AI's two hours covers almost any single round.

Check the rules first

Verve AI's stealth mode and its competitors' equivalents don't make AI help allowed. Many employers ban it in live interviews and assessments. Mock interviews, preparation, and reviewing a transcript afterward are the safe uses. Our AI interview copilot guide explains how to prepare answers in your own words.
