Best AI Interview Copilot in 2026: One Pick for Each Kind of Job Search

October 26, 2026
Not a ranked list. Nine AI interview copilots sorted by the situation they fit best: a few interviews, weekly interviews, coding rounds, mock interview practice, browser-only, and mobile. Prices and limits checked on each vendor's site on October 17, 2026.

Every "best AI interview copilot" list ranks tools one to ten as if everyone had the same job search. They don't. Someone with two final rounds next week needs something different from someone doing three technical screens a week for four months, and both differ from someone who mostly wants to practice. So this guide doesn't rank. It names the situation, then the tool that fits it, with the price and the catch.

We make YesToTheOffer, one of the nine tools here. We've tried to apply the same test to each: what does it cost for the situation described, what does it limit, and what does the vendor's own site say. All prices and limits were checked on each vendor's site on October 17, 2026, unless another date is given. They change, so confirm at checkout.

Best for two to five interviews: YesToTheOffer

This is the most common situation and the one most lists ignore. You've got a few rounds over the next month or two, and a monthly plan would mostly go unused.

YesToTheOffer is our product. A desktop app for macOS and Windows that transcribes the interviewer's questions, drafts answer points from your resume and the job description, helps with coding from screenshots, and gives a transcript and review afterward. You buy minutes: $9.99 for 90, $29.99 for 240. Minutes don't expire, there's no subscription, and new accounts get 30 free minutes. Five one-hour interviews cost about $33.

The catch: no mock interviews, no mobile app, and a smaller user base than the big names. If you want to practice with an AI interviewer before the real thing, pair it with Verve AI's free plan.

Runner-up: OphyAI's $9.99 pass, which covers one session of up to two hours. Better than per-minute billing for a single very long interview, worse for several short ones.

Best for weekly interviews over months: CoPilot Interview

When you're interviewing every week, the hourly math flips and a cheap subscription wins. CoPilot Interview's Standard plan was $14.99 a month on sale (regular $19.99) with 60-minute sessions and up to 100 minutes a day. Native Windows and macOS apps. Pro at $29.99 lifts the cap to 70 minutes.

The catch: the session cap. A 75-minute final round means restarting mid-interview. No mock interviews or resume tools.

Runner-up: Interviews Chat's Booster at $29 a month, unlimited, with mock interviews included. It runs in a browser, which is either a feature or a problem depending on your setup. See our Interviews Chat review.

Best for coding interviews: it depends on volume

Interview Coder was built for coding rounds and lists LeetCode-style problems, system design, and a long list of coding platforms including HackerRank, CoderPad, and Codility. It costs $299 a month for 1,000 credits or $799 lifetime, with no trial of the AI features. If you have months of technical interviews booked and the coding round is what you fear, it's the specialist. See our Interview Coder review.

For a normal number of coding interviews, YesToTheOffer's screenshot coding help costs 0.2 minutes per minute, so the $9.99 pack stretches to 450 minutes of coding-only help. Ten one-hour coding rounds fit in two packs.

If you want a coding copilot inside a broader subscription, LockedIn AI and Final Round AI both include one.

Best for mock interview practice: Verve AI, then Final Round AI

Verve AI's free plan gives 5 AI mock interviews and 3 copilot sessions of 15 minutes, with no card. That's the most generous free practice allowance we found. Paid plans were $44.99 and $84.99 a month on October 9, 2026, with unlimited mocks; on October 17 the page showed limits but no dollar figures in the text we read. Mac, Windows, and iPhone. See our Verve AI review.

Final Round AI has the widest practice suite: mock interviews in several scenarios, a question bank, and automatic debriefs. Its homepage says Pro is "from $25 a month," while the plan page lists $62.50 a month billed annually up to $125 every two months, and we couldn't reconcile the two. No free trial for live sessions. See our Final Round AI review.

Best when you can't install software: Interviews Chat

On a locked-down work laptop, a browser-based copilot is the only kind that runs. Interviews Chat works in a browser with an optional Chrome extension, from $19 a month, and lets you pick the AI model. The catch: browser audio capture is more fragile than a desktop app reading system audio, and the desktop app's operating systems aren't stated.

Best for mobile and long sessions: LockedIn AI

LockedIn AI has iOS and Android apps and allows up to two hours per interview on Unlimited, with unlimited mock interviews. $109.98 a month with $43.99 for the first payment, a 3-month plan billed quarterly, or $799.60 lifetime. The catch is the price after month one. See our LockedIn AI review and alternatives.

Best for a bundle of extras: Parakeet AI

Parakeet AI's credits buy calls, mock interviews, a resume maker, headshots, and a company question bank. Unlimited is $149.90 a month or $599.90 a year. Credits start at $38 for one, about an hour of calls billed in 30-minute blocks, falling to $11.80 each in the 15-pack. It lists 50+ languages and eight verified meeting and coding platforms. The catch is the per-hour cost on small credit packs. See our Parakeet AI review.

What we didn't rank on

  • "Undetectable" claims. Several of these tools lead with being hidden from screen sharing. We don't rank on it, because hidden isn't allowed, and because none of the claims can be verified from a website. See is using an AI interview assistant cheating for what the rules actually say.
  • Answer quality. We can't test nine tools in nine real interviews. Every one of them uses a current large language model; the differences are in context (does it use your resume), speed, and interface.
  • User counts and reviews. Vendor-published numbers aren't checkable.

Check the rules first

Whatever you pick, read the interview instructions. Many employers ban AI assistance in live interviews and assessments, and some ask you to confirm it in writing. The uses nobody objects to are preparation, mock interviews, and reviewing your own transcript afterward. Our AI interview copilot guide covers how to prepare so the answers are yours.
