If you want one tool that gives real-time suggested answers during a live interview, the honest short answer is that it depends on your budget model (subscription or pay per use), your operating system and whether you need coding help. We compared seven tools on the same criteria using each vendor's own pages, last checked October 17, 2026. Prices and features change often, so confirm them on the vendor's site before you pay.

Disclosure: this page is published by YesToTheOffer, and YesToTheOffer is one of the seven tools. We judged every product on the same criteria and tell you below where others are stronger than we are. This guide covers only tools that help during a live interview. Mock-interview practice tools (for example Yoodli, or the practice mode inside Final Round AI) are a different category and are not covered here. YesToTheOffer does not currently offer a practice mode.

How we compared

We used six criteria and applied them to every tool.

  1. Live answer support. Does the tool listen to the interview and suggest answers while it happens?
  2. Coding support. Can it read a coding question from the screen or a screenshot and outline an approach?
  3. Resume context. Can you give it your resume, job description or notes so suggestions are about your own experience?
  4. Platforms. Which operating systems does the desktop app run on, and is there a browser or mobile option?
  5. Price transparency. Can you find a price and the free allowance on the vendor's own page?
  6. Privacy information published. Does the vendor say what is stored, what is sent to third parties and what is not kept?

We did not measure answer quality, speed or detection. We have no benchmarks for any tool, including ours, and we do not publish user counts or ratings. Everything below comes from vendor pages, so claims such as "100% undetectable" are the vendor's marketing and are not verified by us.

Final Round AI

Best for candidates who want the broadest documented live feature set and are happy to pay a monthly subscription.

Final Round AI's Live CoPilot listens to the call and privately shows a short suggested answer. Its pages name Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex, HackerRank, CoderPad and phone screens through a second device. Screen help reads the problem on screen and returns a written coding or system-design solution. Answers are tailored to your resume, job description and materials, which you set up in a "Goal". The page lists 143 locales across 76 languages for spoken interviews and a long list of coding languages.

On price, the free plan includes goals, job description parsing and the desktop app. Live sessions need Pro at $25/month according to the pricing page, which also shows an unexplained asterisk and the phrase "Save up to 40%" without an annual price. The page says there is no free trial for live sessions. Privacy information is thin: the product page says audio is heard with your permission and that goals, sessions and debriefs save to your account, and it gives no retention or encryption detail. The pricing page shows SOC 2, CCPA and GDPR badges next to an "In progress" label, so the exact status is unclear. We have a separate Final Round AI review and a side-by-side comparison with YesToTheOffer.

LockedIn AI

Best for people who want to try a live copilot for free first and who may also want a mobile app.

LockedIn's interview copilot page says it listens to live interviews, shows answers on screen and includes a live coach for pacing and tone. It says it works with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, supports 45+ languages and regional accents, and offers an English and Spanish bilingual mode. You upload a resume and job description for personalized answers. The Free plan gives 10 minutes of live help. The page describes a Credits plan with 400 minutes a month that never expire, and an Unlimited plan with up to 2 hours per interview.

The pricing page we could read listed plan names (Unlimited, Credits, Lifetime) but no dollar amounts, so we cannot quote its prices. It links to both a desktop app and a mobile app without naming operating systems. On privacy, it says it uses end-to-end encryption and processes audio in real time without storing recordings on external servers. See our LockedIn AI review for more.

Cluely

Best for people who want an everyday meeting assistant with a free tier, more than a dedicated interview tool.

Cluely's pricing page describes help "during the call, not after" and lists meetings, homework and sales calls as use cases. It does not mention job interviews. Its home page says that pressing Cmd/Ctrl + Enter gives AI help in the moment, lists Zoom, Slack, Webex, Teams and Meet, and says it supports over 12 languages. Plans on the pricing page: Starter is free with limits, Pro is $19.99/month, and Pro + Undetectability is $149.99/month. The page does not mention coding support, a Windows download, or how data is handled beyond a link to its privacy policy. Our Cluely review and Cluely alternatives go further.

ParakeetAI

Best for people who want to buy a few calls with credits instead of subscribing, and who work on Windows or Mac.

ParakeetAI's Auto Answer detects questions and suggests answers, and you can type manual messages during the call. It reads code shared on your screen for technical calls. It lists 50+ languages, one at a time per session, and uses your uploaded resume. The page lists Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex, Lark, Amazon Chime, CoderPad and HackerRank as verified platforms.

The pricing page is detailed: a single credit costs $38, packs run from $59 for 3 credits to $177 for 15, and 0.5 credit covers a 30-minute call. The Unlimited plan costs $149.90 monthly, $49.99 per month billed yearly, or $78 per week. There is a 10-minute free session. Desktop apps exist for Windows and macOS, mobile use is through a web app, and a native mobile app is described as coming. Like several vendors, it markets concealment from screen sharing, and it also says it is built for conversations where AI assistance is permitted and asks users to check the rules first. See our ParakeetAI review.

OphyAI

Best for people who want pay-per-session passes and also need resume and job-search tools in the same account.

OphyAI's Interview Copilot works with Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams and supports 35 languages. Its Premium plan adds a Coding Interview feature that captures LeetCode, CoderPad, HackerRank or CodeSignal problems by screenshot and streams an approach, complexity notes and code. It also has a resume builder and an application assistant that compares your resume to a job description.

Prices on the page: Free (5 one-time credits and a first session up to 15 minutes), Pro $29/month, Premium $59/month, and interview passes at $9.99 for one session of up to 2 hours or $19.99 for three. The page says the desktop app is hidden from screen sharing and recording, but not from a camera or people in the room, and that visibility depends on your setup, so you should test it. Privacy detail is limited to "industry-standard encryption". See our OphyAI review.

Verve AI

Best for people who want a free plan with several short sessions to compare tools before paying.

Verve AI's page says the copilot listens during live interviews, detects questions automatically and suggests responses based on your background. A "snap and solve" capture handles on-screen questions, and the demo for LeetCode-style problems uses Python. You upload a resume, job description and company values beforehand. The page mentions 55+ languages for live transcription and lists Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex and Amazon Chime.

The free plan includes 3 copilot sessions of 15 minutes. Standard gives 5 sessions of 60 minutes and Pro gives unlimited sessions of 90 minutes each, but the pages we opened showed no dollar prices. The comparison table says Mac, Windows and iPhone are available, and stealth and camouflage modes are desktop-app only. Privacy detail is a link to the policy. See our Verve AI review.

YesToTheOffer

Best for people on macOS or Windows who want pay-as-you-go minutes with no subscription and who want coding help and resume context in one tool.

YesToTheOffer is a desktop app for macOS and Windows. It transcribes the interview in real time and suggests answer structures while it happens. You decide what to use and you must follow the interviewer's and employer's rules. For coding, it analyzes questions and screenshots, outlines an approach, explains complexity and gives reference code. Your resume, private notes and knowledge-base documents ground the suggestions in your own experience. Real-time transcription and translation cover more than 10 languages, and quality varies by mode and model. It is designed to work alongside Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, CoderPad, HackerRank and LeetCode, but platform behavior changes, so test your setup before the interview.

Pricing: packs are $9.99 for 90 universal minutes, $29.99 (listed as 240 minutes) and $59.99, with no subscription. A session with cloud transcription uses 1.0 minute per minute, and a coding-only screenshot session uses 0.2, so 90 minutes covers up to 450 minutes of coding-only help. Turning coding on in a transcription session costs nothing extra. Unused minutes do not expire, and there are 30 free minutes to try it.

Where others are better: Final Round AI documents more locales and a longer set of named coding languages, Verve AI and OphyAI have mobile apps or mobile access in some form, and LockedIn AI, Final Round AI and Verve AI offer practice or mock interviews, which we do not (it is on our roadmap, not available). We are also newer and smaller than the big names. See our real-time interview assistant guide and coding interview assistant guide.

Final Round AI vs LockedIn AI vs Cluely: the short version

Only differences we could verify on the vendors' pages:

  • Final Round AI requires a Pro subscription ($25/month on its pricing page) for live sessions and says there is no free trial. LockedIn AI lists 10 free minutes. Cluely has a free Starter plan with limits.
  • Final Round AI lists macOS 14.4+ and Windows. Cluely's pages show a Mac download and do not mention Windows. LockedIn's pages do not name operating systems.
  • Final Round AI and LockedIn AI both describe coding help and resume or job-description context. Cluely's pricing page mentions custom instructions and file uploads and does not mention coding.
  • Cluely's pricing page lists meetings, homework and sales calls and does not mention job interviews. The other two are written for interviews.
  • Languages stated: Final Round AI 143 locales across 76 languages, LockedIn AI 45+, Cluely over 12.

We could not compare prices for LockedIn AI because the pages we opened did not show them.

Employer rules, detection and responsibility

Most employers and interview platforms have rules about outside help, and many prohibit it. Several vendors above advertise features meant to hide the app from screen sharing. Whether those work depends on your device, the platform and the sharing mode, and we cannot verify them. Even if a tool is not visible, a hidden assistant can still break the interviewer's rules, and being caught can end your candidacy. Using any of these tools in a real interview is your responsibility. Read the instructions you were given, ask the recruiter if the rules are unclear, and do not use a tool where assistance is not allowed. Our article on whether an AI interview assistant is undetectable covers this in more depth. If you do use one where it is allowed, avoid sounding scripted.

Privacy and data handling

Vendors publish very different amounts of detail. On the pages we opened, LockedIn AI says audio is processed in real time without storing recordings on external servers, and OphyAI mentions encryption without specifics. Final Round AI, Cluely and ParakeetAI link policies but describe little on their product pages.

For YesToTheOffer, the resume, knowledge-base documents and desktop interview history are stored on your own computer and can be viewed or deleted at any time. To generate suggestions, relevant text, screenshots and resume details are sent to AI model providers, and live audio is streamed to a speech-to-text provider. Audio recordings are not kept. Web interview transcripts are saved to your account and can be reviewed or deleted.
