OphyAI interview copilot

OphyAI is an interview copilot that listens to a live call in the browser and suggests answers from your resume and the job description. It also sells practice, resume, and job search tools. Most people searching for it want the price, and the price changed in July 2026, so a lot of older articles are wrong. This review uses OphyAI's own pricing page as of October 8, 2026. We make a competing product, YesToTheOffer, so we say where OphyAI fits.

The short version

What it isA browser-based interview copilot with practice, resume, and job search tools around it
PriceFree to try. Pro is $29 a month, Premium is $59 a month, or a $9.99 pass for one interview
FreeA one-time 5-credit grant plus a first Copilot session, both capped at 15 minutes
Good forPeople who want practice, resume, and copilot tools under one login, and anyone with a single interview coming up
Less good forSomeone who wants unused time to carry over, since monthly credits refresh and passes are non-refundable

What OphyAI does

From its pricing and FAQ pages, the product has these parts:

  • Interview Copilot, which gives real-time help on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. It transcribes the interviewer's questions and suggests answers, talking points, and follow-ups based on your resume and the job description, in a private picture-in-picture overlay. It runs in the browser and supports 35 languages.
  • Coding Interview, a separate product for coding and system design rounds. You screenshot the problem from LeetCode or CoderPad, drop in a diagram, or attach a code file, and the AI streams an approach, complexity notes, and code beside your editor.
  • Interview Practice, in text or voice.
  • An AI resume builder, a job search tool, an application assistant, and an application tracker.

What OphyAI costs

PlanPriceCreditsWhat you get
Free$05, one timeOne Interview Practice session (15 minutes), a first Copilot session (15 minutes), the application tracker, and a partial cover letter preview
Pro$29 a month300 a monthThe Interview Copilot, job search, practice, resume builder, application assistant
Premium$59 a month500 a monthEverything in Pro, plus the Coding Interview product
Interview Pass$9.99 for 1, or $19.99 for 3n/aOne Standard Copilot session of up to 2 hours per pass. Copilot only, and non-refundable

Annual billing takes 20 percent off. That is $278 a year for Pro and $566 for Premium, with 12 months of credits.

The Coding Interview product is only on Premium. Pro includes the Copilot but not the coding tool.

The retired $9 plan

OphyAI's own FAQ says it retired the $9 Basic plan in July 2026, and that Pro at $19 and Premium at $39 are old prices. If another review quotes those numbers, it was written before the change.

How credits work

Credits are shared across everything, which matters for planning:

FeatureCredits
Interview Copilot, Standard or Technical session15
Interview Copilot, Advanced session25
Coding Interview session (Premium)15
Interview Practice, text10
Interview Practice, voice15
Resume created5, plus 5 for a download token
Application assistant generation5
Job search, per uncached search2

Pro's 300 credits cover about 20 Standard Copilot sessions if you use nothing else. Premium's 500 cover about 33. Each practice session, resume, or job search you run uses credits that would otherwise go to live sessions. Paid-plan credits refresh monthly and you can use them until the end of the billing period after you cancel.

Is OphyAI free?

In a small way. The Free plan has a one-time 5-credit grant, which pays for one Interview Practice session capped at 15 minutes. It also has a separate first Copilot session, also capped at 15 minutes, with no credit card. That is enough to see how the answers look, not enough to judge a full interview.

Is OphyAI worth it?

It depends on how many interviews you have and how much else you use it for.

Your situationCheapest OphyAI option
One interviewThe $9.99 Interview Pass
Three interviews in a few weeksThree passes for $19.99
A month of heavy searching, with practice and resume workPro at $29 a month
Live copilot plus coding roundsPremium at $59 a month

For a single interview the pass is the best deal on the page, and it costs less than the monthly plans we've seen from other copilots. For a long search the subscription gives more. The two things to watch are that passes are non-refundable and that practice sessions eat into the same credits as live help.

How YesToTheOffer compares

We make YesToTheOffer, so weigh this accordingly.

On price per interview, the numbers are close. A one-hour interview costs about $7.50 at YesToTheOffer's smallest pack ($29.99 for 240 minutes), against $9.99 for an OphyAI pass that covers up to 2 hours. If your interviews run past an hour and a half, the pass is cheaper. If they are short, or you want leftover minutes for later rounds, minutes you keep are the better fit. Check the rules first

OphyAI describes its copilot as a private overlay for live interviews. Whether you may use it is up to the employer, not the tool. Many companies ban AI help in live interviews and assessments, and some ask you to confirm you won't use it. If you're found out, you can lose the offer.

The safest uses of any copilot are practice, mock interviews, and reviewing a transcript afterward. Our AI interview copilot guide shows how to prepare answers from your own experience.
