yestotheoffer ("we," "us," or "our") provides the yestotheoffer desktop application for macOS and Windows, the web interview app at web.yestotheoffer.com, and this website (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is processed, and the choices you have.
In short: We do not sell your personal data. To provide real-time transcription and AI answers, your audio, text, and screenshots are sent to our speech-to-text and AI model providers for processing. On the desktop app, your interview history is stored on your own computer.
1. Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture to create and manage your account.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. We record your purchases, your universal minute balance, and usage records (when each interview session starts and ends and its billing rate).
- Web interview history: If you use the web interview app, the transcripts and AI answers from your sessions are stored in our database and linked to your account, so you can review them later. You can delete them in the web app at any time.
- Website analytics: Our website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to measure traffic (see Section 7).
2. Data Sent to Service Providers During an Interview
The real-time features of the Service are powered by third-party providers. While you use them:
- Voice: When voice transcription is turned on, audio from your microphone and your computer's audio output is streamed in real time to Deepgram for speech-to-text. We do not store audio recordings.
- Text and screenshots: Transcribed questions, screenshots you capture, and the job, resume, and knowledge-base information you choose to provide are sent to AI model providers (through OpenRouter) to generate answers, analyses, and debriefs.
These providers process the data only to deliver the Service, under their own privacy terms.
3. Data Stored on Your Device (Desktop App)
The desktop app stores the following on your computer, not on our servers:
- Your job profiles, resumes, and knowledge-base documents.
- Your interview history and debriefs, including screenshots saved with each interview record.
- Diagnostic log files used for troubleshooting.
You can delete interview records in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app and removing its data folder deletes all locally stored data.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Providing and maintaining the Service, including transcription and AI features.
- Managing your account, processing payments, and tracking your minute balance.
- Communicating essential service-related notices.
- Providing customer support and preventing abuse.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Service: Supabase (account and database hosting), Stripe (payments), Deepgram (speech-to-text), OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to (AI answers), Resend (email), Vercel and Cloudflare (hosting), and Google (analytics on our website). We may also disclose information when required by law.
6. Data Retention and Your Rights
We keep your account and billing records while your account is active and as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and its data by emailing hello@yestotheoffer.com from your registered email address. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in and to measure traffic (Google Analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as signing in, may not work without them.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
